I was just wondering if any body knew how to eliminate that pause when the track is changing to a new on your mixtape after it is recorded?

Go to Record File, Config and make sure it is not selected for multiple files.

I personally create a non cut version then I use a seperate program to edit with no gaps and add tracks. Now, I cant remember if the home version allows you to mix uncut versions or not. If it does, go into record and change the config settings and untick "seperate songs".

you can have gapless tracks for your mixtape if you select to record your files as .wav instead of .mp3
.wav can be alot bigger than .mp3, but it's gapless and once you record your mixtape on cd you can delete the .wav files.

I think what you are asking how to burn a disk that you recorded & edited but when you burn there is a 2 seccond gap in between each track.
If that is the problem you need to select "Record Disk At Once" or "Remove Gap" or go in to each transition properties and put "0" in the space that askes "size of pause between tracts"
It depends on the burnning program you are using.
I use Nero 7 & 8 for my mixed disks and mixed DVDs.
