Topic: Partition Vista

I'm using a dual boot system with 2 hard drives and a copy of vista on each drive, one for normal use, one for VDJ.

I'm trying shrink the partition that VDJ Vista is on, but It won't let me shrink as much as I want even though there is room.

I've turned of page file, system restore on that drive, stopped error reporting, performed disc clean up and defragged. There seems to be some file that can't be moved during a shrink which is stopping me.

Any thoughts?

you should hove done this befor you put any software on the HD
 
Ok, best I rephrase that, any helpful ideas? lol

I've read that some third party disc partitioner's will do what Vista partitioner won't. Is this correct?

I too tried to shrink with no luck using Vistas manager. Try Partition Magic, it may work and if it does let me know:)
 
Paragon partition manager did it. No problems at all, hope that helps.
