ok purchased the first rmx ok but it has issues like a badly behaving teenager first of ask it politelly to play music sweetley all right
for 2 hours then all of a suden it screams at everyone in the club in a overdistorted voice . dance floor guys and girls look shocked
and frightend my heart rate now goes up a cupple of notches i slide down the master volume controller back of the gain on the rmx
back up with volume slider all ok !!!!!!!! or so i thought 30 mins later in the middle of dance set sudenly( insomnia faithless )no less
drop to a tiny little voice i was reminded at that point by the crowd just how bad a dj i must be with gesture resembling fingers and mouth
movment that through the haze of flashing strobe lights look like armageden for me .doh i thought what could it be this time ? you guest it
that pesky gain knob again . so once again a qwick twidle and sound was restored few!!!!!!!!!!!! good only 1 hour 2 go before the club closed
up . up poped Kevin the teenager (rmx controller) and now posesed by the devil started to slide my pich slider on vdj up on deck one

........... Now Playing back up cd to finish of the night all was calm and back in controll
later when the club closed i whent back to the disobediant Kevin (rmx controller) and tried to exacise his deamonds it turned out
the only way to get rid of the pich slider problem was to disconect him from the computer by removing usb cable and closing vdj down
then and only then had he been restored back in to the fold..
Now off Cource this Has to Be a faulty Unit i Hear you all Cry but the sad fact is that there are more things wrong with our Kevin (rmx)
But I wont Go in To that Now i Will Leave it 4 later I think With a little more work He will be a credit to his Mum & Dad (VDJ) once he
looses the attitude ....... Rmx mk 2 Anyone ?

You maybe right about the pitch issue, i think mine did it last sat night at a gig, wasnt sure though if it was something i had inadvertantly caused being in a rush to get outside for a Ciggy, and I also had a few of the old Amber Nectars !..... but when i came back in from "said Ciggy" i was met with James blunt on HELIUM!, I assumed I had made an error in the VDJ pitch matching setup or somehow sync had lodged itself on with no beatlock , but when i checked all settings and faders everything appeared normal. I have noticed also when testing the rmx at home that there seems to be wild changes in "gain" between tracks , sometimes to the point where it distorts badly even when auto gain is enabled in setup, again i assumed that this must be an error in setting up vdj on my part.
I now think, having read your post that its the RMX thats at fault !

Dont Get Me wrong i hope that the RMX was faulty and that i see more glowing and satisfied djs with the rmx .
But i Know this to Be true of all New kit it takes time to find out its gremlins and as the months go bye i will
go back and try again hopfully with a more stable outcome The Main point of the letter is to Give Feedback
in a way without being to hard on the RMX guys . Im sure it wont be long Before there is a new driver or firmware
fix . As for the RMX it is far better than the mk11 in layout more room for your hands . one thing i would change
the led lights on the PLAY STOP and CUE buttons . it would make it so much easier to work with if they were
industry standard Green For PLAY Red For STOP and Blue For CUE . i Love vdj and it keeps a roof over my head
