Things seem to be going well this year, all around for me as a video jock, lets just say i may be close to serious investment, initiative, and lots of practice finally......paying off
finally did a DVD demo... for a friend... overseas... ended up being reviewed by a local Music TV station here
They definitely are interested in a program. In fact... i am working on the program now
Normally i play a lot of mashups and blends.. that are self created and station about these being in the program as well.
From speaking to friends I realize that there are many legalities and issues when it comes to broadcasting videos etc, especially mashups and blends.
WHAT ARE SOME of the things that I need to be aware of and how do I get through these etc. What are the legal rights, my rights etc when it comes to the playing of these vids.
What hidden things should i look for in their contract.. that i may not know off hand. What must i preserve in terms of freedom etc. My time is limited since i my program may air as early as next weekend.
