What type of format do you use on your external Hard Drive for VDJ to read??

If you have a fat32 disk and you want to convert it to ntfs:
- Connect the external HD.
- Go to start -> Run
- Type cmd
- Type convert D: /FS:NTFS (if D is your external)
With fat32 you can´t copy files bigger then 2 gb, therefore you need ntfs.

NTFS also has a better support for file recovery in case of disasters.

True, NTFS all the way, FAT is old file system that is abandoned years ago.
