Is it possible to get Turntables Serviced and checked out. I would like my 1210's to be checked out and cleaned. Would it be best to take them to a Technic's dealer.

Good resource. You can buy the manual and do it yourself, it's not difficult, if you're just talking about maintenance. This site also has US certified technicians but I believe you're in the UK so that won't help.

No mate, staying way clear of that, last time a did some work like that, it take me 2 day's to put a lawnmower back together again...lol,
Just phoned a Authorized Technics dealer up, near me and he can get it off to the Technics Service centre here in the UK.
It's about pricey for the pair of them, but I guess it's worth it.

I've got one that needs servicing too Jimmy. Where in the UK are you, and how much have you been quoted? I stripped mine down and cleaned them, that was really easy and they look new, but I need a new pitch control on one of them. I may attempt it myself, not sure yet.
