I use a Sony EVI D-70 camera. I noticed when I connect the RCA jack from the camera into the BenQ Mp771 projector I get a clear picture. When I use the same plug but plug into the laptop using Virtual DJ and Ken a Vision software i get a washed out fuzzy picture. How can I get the clearer picture going through Virtual DJ?. I tried the sharpness, hue etc settings on the Kenavision software. I think the picture is getting blurry once it gets sent through Virtual DJ. How can I fix this?
I used this same setup with a TV and had a clear picture going out of VDJ into the TV. When I use the projector the image is fuzzy. Remember - I get a clearer picture when going directly from camera to projector. I am losing quality when going through virtual DJ.
Thanks

Is anyone else using a camera? How do you have it set up?

Can anyone from VDJ help me out on this? Why is the camera picture not as clear ran I run it through VDJ and sharper when I run it directly to the projector?

I do NOT have this problem.
My pics are pretty clear either way.
Try to play a video from a DVD throuhg a DVD player going straight to the projector and then compare to the ripped version (preferably in .vob) through VDJ from your normal location such as the DJ booth.
You will probably feel the same about the video as you do about the pictures once you also compare the videos.
If this is the case, I don't think it is a problem with VDJ. You should check such things as your cabling. You may be splitting your VDJ video signal into too many projectors or there is simply too much cable between the DJ booth (your VDJ computer) and the projector.
This type of problem is not unusual in video installations - Google "Audio/Video Signal Boosters". This may solve, or at least improve, your problem.

MP3Rick has this camera and is using it successfully. Hopefully, he will get a minute to help you.

I beleive the problem is with the BenQ MP771 projector. The contrast ratio is low.

Are you using RCA cables or S-Video Cable?
Im asking becasue I have a similar issue with my video card (a Saphire Brand, with ATI X1650 chipset and 512MB, PCIe16x) with anything from the output with the SVIDEO from the PC. I use a switcher to activate the camera, and works great in my DELL MP2400 projector.
This afternoon I will do some test with convertes from SVideo to RCA to see if I can solve the issue.

See what your image quality is like using MS Movie Maker. That should determine if the problem is with VDJ or the other software you mentioned.
