Hello


I Have purchased The numark I/O last week and It sound Good works fine but every Time I start up my pc It doest detect the sound card And I have to unplug the USB Cable and plug it in again.

I did have the realtek drivers of the motherboard but Ive unistalled them and disabled the on board sound card.

Is it my hardware issue or is it my configuration?

My spec:

Mother board : Asus p5w dh deluxe

Ram : 3gb 800mhz

Procesor: Intel Dual Core 6700

HDD: 4 Sata 200gb

VGA: Ati Raedon 1920 Club3d 256mb DDR3

Virtual Dj : 5.07

And I also use Total Control & USB keyboard and Mouse if that helps.


I Would Like to take the opportunity to Thank Virtual Dj for The great Application & this forum wich I always read but rerally take part.

It might be one of 2 things:

1) you have an IRQ conflict.
2) You plugged the I/O into a Different usb port, than the one you had it into when you first installed the drivers.

if at all possible, keep the usb devices in the same ports at all times.
 

Hello I have looked and I don´t have a IRQ conflict infact I reinstalled the drivers again just in case ass well.


I havent changes de USB port either.


It´s No big problem but every time I start up the pc I unplug and plug in again de Dj I/O.

I forgot to pension I also have a Asus laptop & the problem is on going, so Im thinking it may be the sound card.

Driver version is the latest downloaded from Numark website (2.8.9 I think)

Do really want to go back to my dealer because It took Two months to get here & don´t want to wait two more..

If Anyone would like to add anything please do so :)
 
Do you have any logitech hardware?
 


No logitech hardware just what I wrote above. I use the pc exclusively For VDJ.
 
May sound silly but have you tried another usb cable it might be slightly damaged.

On the base of your DJ.io what month and year was it produced in ?

You may need to do a firmware update.

http://www.numark.com/content5113.html ensure you have the latest driver which will force the firmware update if not, drop me an email sbangs[@]numark[dot]com and i can provide a firmware updater.

I did actuallly Try a Diferent USB Cable because when I got The DJ I/O I diden´t use the cable that came with it but one I had one spare on my pc & had the same problem but thought nothing of it as I has other Sound Drivers.

I haven´t got the DJ I/O with me so i will have to get back to you on the year and month it was produced, but only arrived last week.

I have a logitech USB Keyboard & Mouse, Do you think this might be the source? Just when I was reading the forums I thought it was just the logitech web cam that gave problems to the DJ I/O.

Logitech drivers can cause all sorts of problems for many audio devices did you have to install any software?
 


No I diden´t put any drivers in for the keyboard. Plugs in and works.

No , should not.

Did you have any joy with the drivers ?

 
Yes I already had the latest drivers from the begining.


The fabrication date that says on the back is NOV 2007.

I can´t remeber the firmware 1.0.1 I can remenber sorry.


Do I need to update firm?

i can´t hear the mix trough the headphones! why can this be? i tried everything! don´t know hoew to fix this! help

I have the Numark DJio and cannot get any sound from the Io device.

I have an acer laptop and it worked fine with the DJiIO until it moved the machine to a club set.

Virtual DJ works fine with aso4all driver but does not produce sound once the Numark Driver is chosen from CONFIG.

I have tried reinstalling the driver (its the latest) and trying new cables.

I have also tried various set ups inclusing 512 samples.

Please help as the DJ IO worked fine until I moved the machine and if its that tempamental its worthless.

I have the exact same problem with my djio it worked fine then one day i plugged it in to my laptop when i was setting up for a gig and got no sound from it all night i what to use cds it was a real bummer
