What ever happened to the sample beatmatch feature that would let you beatmatch to 2/4/8.... beats?

Ok i think i figured it out. I have to re-record all my samples using the loop button for the "sync on" option to apear. This kind of stupid i think, am i missing something here?

yes. allow me to explain.
I had .vdj samples i recorded using VDJ (by pressing the LOOP button) on r6.
When i upgraded to r7 i no longer got the "Sync On" option, i have to re-record those samples in order for it to show again.
