Topic: Extend record time

Hey, does anyone know how I can extend the record time to burn to CD?

I'm trying to create my own .mp3 CD's and have about 90 songs saved in my "Playlist" and ready to burn to CD. However, as I am recording and mixing the next song to start before the current song ends, it stops recording on it's own. Only about 2-3 songs were recorded to my hard drive. How can I extend this recording time to continue and record from "Master" and save to my hard drive so I can later burn it on to a CD?

Thanks for your help!

so, I guess nobody knows...?

It could be that u have not enough memory on ur HD. Verify what is ur HD size n how much is left. If u have multiple drive or external just change the recording location to the one that have alot of memory left.

No, this is not the case. I still have 58GB of free space on my HD. There should be a setting for VDJ where I can increase the recording time, I just don't know how to change this. I've also read the instructions manual and found nothing.

Any other suggestions? Anyone.....?

Which version do you use?

Sorry for double post... I begun to think that maybe I should have posted in Technical Support instead of here.

I'm using version 5.0.7

DJ ALF,

I

am

using

version

5.0.7.....

Ok, ok, I see that ;)
Is it demo version? You have something overlooked in your setup. I don't know reason why it won't record like it should be, all fine at my PC.

Do you have the split on fade feature checked? or auto split?

i'm not sure...how can I find out?

Go to Record>Config>Split in Multiple files > disable.

OK, I did that in "Record" tabs "Record file". Now willl this disable the "Split in Multiple files" for "Burn CD & Broadcast" Also?

Thanks!

OK, I have disabled this....

Question...can VDJ burn directly to a blank CD instead of hard drive then to CD?

Thanks!
