Topic: transfering ownership of software

Dieses Thema ist veraltet und kann veraltete oder falsche Informationen enthalten.

I have numark cue and i'm thinking about selling it on ebay and buying the VDJ version (due to hc4500 issue). Anyway will I be able to unregister myself and allow someone new to reregister the program so that they can get the updates and so on?

I don't think it's possible, I don't think the license is transferable.

I would just keep it and set up a new account/License and user name with VirtualDJ and download it.

What issue with hc4500? VDJ and Numark Cue are THE SAME programs, and if something is not working on Cue, it will be the same on VDJ. I think that support for that controller is not perfect yet, so just a little patience.

Same here also, just registered my Home version from Cue and still waiting for the order I made for VV.
As Jimmy said just keep it, in which I would, then soon I'll register my Pro version of CUE (from VV).

Question: would I'll be a Home and a Pro user at the same time? e.g labels under my name Cue KCO / Pro...

Pro, just look at mine. <---

Quick reply indeed...Thanks mate...

Actually, from what I've read I believe the HC-4500 isn't natively supported on Cue at all at the moment?

That is right. Maybe in the future.

So if I sell my VMS4 to someone else the software goes with the controller then that mean the software have to be transfer over to the new owner.
It not like I'm going to use the VMS4 when I own a different controller or buy a new controller.

I think the terms needs to be rewritten because many DJs will end up selling the controller and upgrade their controller that may have VDJ.
It doesn't make any sense to not be able to transfer ownership when I don't have the controller the software was intented for.
