Here's a pic of my Laptop mouse
As you can see the left button has been used quite alot, lol. Now it has started to stick and I end up havin to tap it to get it unstuck. Can this sort of mouse been repaired or replaced by a new one.

That's what I normally use Paul, lol
@TDBennett, is it a job I could do, or is it a shop repair would you say.

That depends on the model, try to search for "Service Manual", in there is described how to open your laptop step by step.

Some lappys, especially the newer, sleeker models, are a real bear to get open, even for the simplest repair. If you can find a service manual like DJ-ALF suggests, and it looks less scary than you expected, have a go!

jimmyb, if this is your working laptop then you should have it done by a technician. like others stated, laptops are so cramped, hard to work on. wouldn't want to break it while trying to fix it. shop that model on ebay, find a busted one and keep it for parts then find a decent tech that will work on it, paying him for his time and expertise.
we keep a stack of old laptops just because we have the same model working in the field. of course we are techs so the work is no biggie.

Yeah it's my gig laptop, I've decided to take it to a shop to repair, when I get the time and on the right shift.
Cheers mate.
