Hello,
I have a question to all the people who are playing vids or karaoke at their gigs.
What is the best solution ?
Do you have pictures of it?
Some people are using a tv on a truss and others a beamer with a big screen.
When I use the beamer with the big screen, I don´t have always a good position for the screen.
Sometimes people can walk in front of the beamer.
Can you please let me see when you use a beamer and a screen what the best solution is and also if you use a tv.
Was thinking about buying a 32 inch tv, but you must be very carefull when you take it with you to your gigs.
Also thinking about putting the beamer behind the big screen, so that nobody can walk in front of the beamer.
Any suggestion is welcome
Thanks

right now i am not using any type of video. my computer cannot handle it, etc
but you will find a "beamer" or if you mean projecter... is the way to go. its meant to be handled (mobile projectors), are small, light and can change in size for the venue. imo, way to go and reverse like you said is much safer.
epson is a good brand as well as infocus

Find something great: Sanyo PLC-XL50
The beamer can stand 8 cm in front of the screen to get a videosize that is 1.6 x 1.2 meter
If you have 1500 euro
:-)

Depending on the size of the venue, I use either a 40" LCD or a rear projection screen. No problems with people walking through the picture.

Thanks for the answers.
Kamakuakane, do you have a flightcase for that?
Wondering how you carry that LCD TV.

Here is a solution I made for a projector using rear projection for tight areas.Mabe it can work for you.

Lineman55,
Thanks for your answer.
Thats also possible. It looks nice with the mirror and the screen.
Also Djscreen looks great.
Gonna think about a screen that I can put the beamer behind it.
