Hi,
My plan origanally was to buy to some cdj's with tracktor scratch and start learning to mix. But due to finance have not been able to afford this option. I said to a friend i would do a simple djing thing at his party but have no idea how to dj, so was wondering if virtual dj or any software you know simply mixs for you or makes it sound atleast acceptable. I realise this is technically cheating but only need advise just this once. Any advise would be great and thanks for your time.

virtual dj can be as simple or complex as you want it. vdj is good at all needs, it can "automix," play a playlist, etc
imo, the most VERSATILE program - later on you can expand on it one you get the money. I started on a desktop with 3.4 for 2 years. thats it. now i got the whole spheel lol with timecodes. it grew with me over time
good luck :)
