Topic: Seen a good movie lately?

Dieses Thema ist veraltet und kann veraltete oder falsche Informationen enthalten.

I don't know if many of you guys are movie buffs, but I get through a couple a week, and find the challenge is sorting through the good and the bad (and sometimes the ugly).

So what are the better movies you've sat through lately?

These are the better of what I've watched recently:

Cloverfield (2008)
3:10 to Yuma (2007)
American Psycho (2000)
Days of Glory (2006)
The Bourne Ultimatum (2007)
No Country For Old Men (2007)
Inside Man (2006)
The Prestige (2006)

There's a few for you, now give me some recommendations..

Watched, V for Vendetta and Jumper last week at work on DVD (night shift bonus I guess), both were good films.

Last film a saw at the pictures was Cloverfields, I was surprised at that film, quite enjoyed it.

not much of a film watcher but when i do i like movies in this vain... the debaters, bucket list, lions for lambs, all great watchable films and of course the classic debbie does.... whoever

Last night the lovely PJ and I went and saw Get Smart...it is a very funny film. I was a huge fan of the original series from the 60s and this one is just as good. Two very enthusiastic thumbs up. Until next time the balcony is closed......

If you get the chance check out a film called "Once" its a low budget job made in Ireland, a kind of modern day musical but using real musicians. One of the best films I have seen lately.

I want to check out " wanted, the incerdible hulk, and the new will smith movie..

Saw it two weeks ago...real real good film. Kept the vibe from the 70s TV series (Starring Lou Ferrigno who has a cameo, and Bill Bixby who is shown on a TV screen in the background). And touched on the 90s cartoon, yet still remained true to the comic book. William Hurt did his usual good job, as we have come to expect from him, solid acting throughout.

I really felt for Bruce and Betty when they "bump" into each other. I empathized with them, wanting to be together, and circumstances keeping them apart. Excellent job by the script writers. This one is head and shoulders above the John Woo Hulk of a couple years ago.

I give this movie 4 out of five stars....I hope to see you all at the movies. Until the next time the balcony is closed.

Colhandycamrfield gave me a headache to watch, I turned it off about halfway through too much of a blair witch vibe for me. Jumper was a great movie bucketlist was also good. I loved The Prestige but i have the upmost respect for tesla, this movie was good but i felt it really slandered him what do you say for a guy who invented radio, alternating current and had real hate for Edison :)

Saw this the other night - The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas - recommend you go see it if you haven't yet... sad story but given the context that's hardly surprising.

Wall-E!!!

and kung-fu panda.

one high brow... one low brow - both fun whether you're 2 or 92.
