Nice! Back when I was in college I worked for my aunt's temp agency over break, and one of the jobs I had went to a 4 day week for a while...it was extremely nice! Saved on gas and got a 3 day weekend every week!

sounds smart .....what next ... people will have a life and less nose to the grindstone ...... good thing we didn't .......
think of that in the 70's during the oil embargo
make fuel efficient cars
keep our railroads in good repair
design our cities and suburbs to be easy to get around in without a car
keep building nuclear plants
invest in solar technology
build more oil refining capacity
make small sacrifices , a little at a time , gradually to work towards more energy independence and to prepare for the future

I've been reading a lot of articles about moving to a four day office week across the board just to save energy.

Aint no way I'm Djing a 10 hour shift!.....That is great for government employees, but does that mean all the services like MDV, Zoning, Treasurer, etc. will all be open until 7pm instead of 5pm so normal 9 to 5 people can actually get things accomplished between 5pm and 7pm after THEIR work? If so that is great, if not it just means the general public gets the shaft again and government employees get one more perk sponged from our hard earned tax dollars!
