According to the product information page there is no difference in the software, but from what I've been reading on the forums here there seems to be slight disparity between the two programs. Can anyone give me the real dirt?

One says Virtual DJ, and the other one says Numark Cue. It is the same. This has been discussed so many times, so if you do a search, you will find more info than you will need.

If you had to choose I would go with VDJ over Cue.
New releases always come out on the VDJ brand before Numark gets them.

Some time there are delays this is true but , only because we like to test them fully before releasing it to ensure best customer experiance.

That is not always true..I believe it was v5r1 that CUE users received before VDJ users.

Maybe, but recently I have been noticing a lot of CUE users have been getting the shaft with updates. This would royally piss me off if I was a CUE user.

I am a CUE and a VDJ user..both programs work just fine on both of my machines.

Be aware that CUE does not support the Denon HC-4500 anymore...Other than that, they're pretty much the same software.
I had to purchase VDJ in order to use my HC4500.
