Now I´ve got my new Dell and can see alot to do with tweaking (fuck Vista)...but i see that its gonna work very smooth at the end ;-)

Had another successful weekend with this new Dell Studio 15. Video is very smooth.
Tried a new trick this weekend, using the built in webcam, I was able to put myself up on the output screens introducing the next tune :-) Instant Max Headroom on TV!!! Couple of problems with it, on switching the camera on the video freezes for about a second (music is unaffected) then the screen goes completely blank for a further second until my 'live' image appears onscreen. I can live with that though. The other problem is I need another pair of hands :-) Trying to keep your eyes fixed on the camera and feeling around the mixer with one hand to start the next tune while holding the mic in the other hand then finding the mouse to switch the camera off gets a bit tricky :-) The effect is impressive though. You can also use the various video effects on the output too, havent progressed that far yet, one step at a time!
