Sup guys, im wondering has anyone made a skin for 5.1 in the mix station skin? Ive just went from 3.4 to 5.1 and im having probs with this skin on this version (delay after button is clicked, freezes, twitches in screen). Im simple and dont like alot of clutter and this one has worked great for me on 3.4 but i would like to be able to use it for 5.1. Can anyone help!

Skins for 3.4 shouldn't even be working with 5.1, there's a sticky atop the skins forum with a link for the newest mixstation skin;^]

thanks for the replies guys but yes every since ive used vdj, ive used that skin 3.4 and never had a prob with it. Now that i purchased 5.1, i still use that skin and it sticks (my sample button (F1-12) stays lit til i click on the effects tab) Ive noticed that when i press for a 8 count loop, it puts me in a 16 count loop, my loop drifts off beat (irritating) bc i have to walk the loop just to keep up, on the effects buttons (3 per deck), i cant put 3 effects there and have them stay anymore! It may just be that its not compatible with 5.1! Im just seeing if there was an updated skin for this skin. uhhhh im looking all over for this link for new skins and cant find it unless its the same link to all the skins! lol Im stressing guys but i know yall are the pros at this so im just following your lead! Keep up the good work!

lol your ok, but, i actually clicked on the mixstation skin and saw many more of them but there is not one for 5.1 thought! I did pick one but its for version 4.0! I have been playing with it and i like it, so i will play with it til i do a show this weekend! Even though it only has a cue for one effect, can i still have 3 from the keyboard?

I used the Mix Station skins for a long time. My good friend Format kept asking me why..and he designed into MixLab a lot of the same features that are in Mix Station. Try Mixlab 3.1 it is already wired for v5.1.

I def. recommend the mixlab 3.1 as well, it is the skin of all skins if you ask me. Tons of switchable panels so you can customise it to your liking, perfect for all uses;^]
