Hello all
Anybody figured out how to set an automatic loop on one of the customisable '1-6' buttons on the RMX? Anybody who had the MK2 will know what I mean, I want to be able to press one of the buttons and the software will automatically loop for a given length, the same as pressing the loop 1-3 buttons on the MK2.
Ideally I want to set one button to 8 loops, one to 4 loops and one to 2 loops. I did read a post to say to use the RMX Button Configurator program and assign the Smart Loop command to the button. I have tried this and it doesn't work!!
Anybody who has managed to setup their RMX to do this, please could you share how to do it, I'm sure others would like to know as well!!

I used the button configurator to do this & works fine, buttons 1 for a single bar (4 beats) & buttons 4 for 2 bars (8 beats). Did you remember to click on save after assigning each button? Use the value box to assign number of beats for the loop;^]

Are you using smartloop? I assign a value and save it, but when I press the button in VDJ with the song playing - nothing..

Choose "loop" from the drop down instead of "smart loop", that should work;^]

Sorted, I've changed from "Smart loop" to "loop" as you said and it works!!. I know have 8 loops assigned to button 1, 4 loops to button 4, 2 loops to button 3 and 1 loop to button 5.
Works a treat, thanks timmy!!
