Stumbled in a particular forum today..(not vdj)
A particular person... posted comments giving information on CUE and its superiority to VDJ
funny i thought (or should i say know) they are basically the same software.. with a few adjustments for CUE....I had myself a chuckle
CUE updates basically comes after VDJ's right?
Might be foolish to ask... but how much different is CUE from VDJ now...
i know that it is written for the Numark.. and also that it comes with its own box etc.
Anything else worth mentioning??? Sky?

I will tell you one BIG difference between CUE and Virtual DJ, VDJ has support for the VCI-100! For me this is a big deal because every time i try to upgrade to 5.1, even after i try and remap it, the VCI-100 jog wheels will not work right!! I have asked for people on the forum to copy this xml file and post it and no one will!! PLEASE post if you have VDJ
Thank You
Thank You

In my view VDJ and CUE are precisely the same. The first one has only sold by internet whereas the second one is marketed by CD of Numark

Cue is slighty different. Cant change skins and it has no native support for HC4500 but it has midi assign. In my opinion, even though cue and VDJ are almost the same. Its better to get Virtual vinyl because you are getting the sound card thats designed for the software. One complete package. Cue Plus the Audio interface and timecodes.

1. You can change skins and have acess to the full libary of effects plugins and skins.
2. HC4500 + VCI100 support will be added in a patch update soon and was left out unitentionaly.
Best Regards

Question: if I buy Total Computer DJ In A Box, can I upgrade the software via download from the web? And, if Cue is the same as Virtual DJ, do updates for it coincide with updates for VDJ? Is it really EXACTLY the same except for the default skin?

Sometimes the CUE update follows the VDJ update, for reasons known only to Numark,by a couple of days. There was at least one instance I know of though when the CUE update was released before the VDJ update was released. Hope that helps.....look forward to seeing you as a Pro user soon.
