this mixer is the "all in one masterpiece"

pioneer is always a step ahead !

if only it was a little cheaper ...

but its known that all great things are expensive.

is it available already in Europe ?
 
Yes,

In our country ( The Netherlands) you can buy the mixer only for a bout 5000 Euro.

I know a dj who makes yearly videomixes for TMF.
He works with the stuff from the youtube movie.

Virtualdj is also nice but this is something special.

where do they came up with this price i don't care what it got but this mixer is why! over price you can't even hook up a hard drive to the dem! thing,well from now VDJ is $3000.00
 
 
I agree that it's expensive, but I'm not sure if it's overpriced. There isn't anything on the market that can do what the SVM-1000 can. Also, there isn't another DVD player that can do what the DVJ-1000 or DVJ-X1 can do. I think it's been 3 years since the DVJ-X1 has been released, and no other companies have released a player that can compete with it. It will probably be that long (or longer) until there's a mixer that can compete with it. With no competition, the prices will be high. I've heard when using timecode you can use CD players to manipulate video with VDJ like the DVJ series. Unfortunately, I'm a Mac user and they haven't figured out timecode for us yet :-(
 
If you see all the things together it looks really amazing.
But offcourse you need a big wallet.
But the advantage of virtualdj is that you have a lot of plugins that you can install. If it's hardware, you only have the effects that are on the hardware.
Also I like it that I only need my laptop, external harddisk and a external soundcard that I can plugin when I have a gig at a club.

I like virtualdj very much and it's one of the best djsoftware for me.
