Topic: ICDX user Help Please

I just bought 2 icdx to use with virtual dj they still are on the way but my questions are:
1- I want to use it with the music in my laptop ans external hard drive
2- If is 2 icdx and I connect both to the laptop can they be set up as desk 1 and 2
3- What about the mixer a regular one can do it or should be an usb complaint
4- Sound Card with virtual dj I have a second one for cue....For Icdx look like asio driver is needed so I have to buy a 4in - 4out the recomended maya AudioTrak MAYA44 USB

If I understand you correctly, yes you can do all the things you asked about. I use two iCDXs and a DXM01usb mixer and an ext HD works just fine. I do not see it being different if you used say a Maya soundcard.
 
could you please let me know your set up cause I don't have mixer with usb port and my sound card is a single one that's my concern.
 
I use CDXs, my Laptop, and an external. Works just fine with a DAC 3 in the mix, Maya 44 USB...

I thought about upgrading to a usb mixer and iCDXs but what I have is all I need...

Look at my blog, click on my name and it should come up...Two iCDX, one DXM01usb mixer.
