Just wanted to do a shout-out and thanx to the programmers (to offset my future years of needless whining and feature begging)..

I've used it now for about 10? shows/wedings and every weekend I'm just a little more impressed with VDJ..
started with just the keyboard and audio only, then got my DMC2 controller, then started with some videos..
Awesome!

No Crashes!
after using PCDJ 5.2 for years, it was getting to the point I was shocked if it didnt crash that night..

The Waveform!
Being able to cue up to the downbeat without headphones.. nice.. being able to easily cue 4 to 16 beats before the lyrics start.. priceless

Customizable keyboard shortcuts!
wow.. I'm sure many of the other new programs have the same ability, But for me..(who never had this ability before) this just gets better and better.

I'm just starting to dabble in it.. but the future is mind boggling!

Automix!
it was a little weird for me at first (I was used to songs fading between decks )...
but now I love it.. I can play my dinner music and walk away (and not worry about one song being super loud).
I can search for songs I want to play during dinner and not have to worry that the songs I'm scrolling thru might 'accidently' get loaded into a deck..
AND! if I need a special song ready and waiting (for a grand entrance or cake cutting or whatever) I can now leave it loaded in a player while the other deck plays the music..
nice!

btw if you use VDJ instead of Brand X .......... you WILL get all the naked girls ....... thats part of what we call the "plug ins "
