Back when the first press releases came out for that bad boy, They detailed that it was going to be compatable with CUE and serato Itch.

It's sort of on MY wish list, too!

yeah me too.. would love to have this option as well
since I am now trying to access new controller options

along with the Vestax - 300 too.. .smile

At the moment, one of my favorite online stores www.decks.co.uk is taken Pre-orders for the NS7.

They got the price at £899 ($1800 US). This will probably increase as it gets nearly to the release date.

::swoon!::

It was on the Numark stand at Plasa, had a quick play with it, it's a very nice bit of kit. It's a MIDI device too... :)

Im considering ditching the hc4500 and just going with NS7, i am curious to know if it would fit in a typical coffin case.
Looks worth the 1300 bucks.

Aahh, NO. It's about 1 1/2 of a flight case from front to back. It's a big unit, I would say along the lines of a 32" flat panel TV.

Wow thats big what the hell would you use to transport this controller?

I'm my opinion, the ns7 would be a great buy. I've seen the cdxs in action and these deck are the same. The jog wheels are smaller and good enough to scratch comfortable.

I think the jogs are much better for scratching on the NS7 - motorised platters with adjustable torque, and traditional-type setup - a vinyl control surface with a slipmat between that and the platter. The jogs themselves are about 7" IIRC.

I think Simon said that it uses higher resolution MIDI too.

As said though, it's a big unit :)

Im glad to see some positive feedbacks.

It was a pleasure to Meet Scot at the show!

This unit has a 10 x faster midi transfer rate using a special compression method.

The whole aim is to make a totally real vinyl feel and of course as a midi controller it works with all software's.

So Simon, How long before you get an NS7 icon in your Profile?

@Simon, will Numark have the NS7 at the BPM Expo at Donington Park, I would love to see it in action.

My only real concern is when i get the NS7 and do a gig, how do i transport it? Its a very large using and i dont want to walk into a wedding or party with my equipment under my arm :D

They had a couple at PLASA, so I see no reason why not!

I suspect Numark will supply a coffin as an accessory, although if not, making/getting one made should be a piece of piss :)

Good to meet you as well Simon, good stand you had there, lots of toys :)

As I said to you though, it was a shame about the show - more lighting orientated than anything else.

Lots of hotties though, so it wasn't all bad ;)

seems bad ass !!; I just dont like all in one units for the fact if one thing breaks it all has to go to the shop for repairs ..how ever , its way better than the b 52 by prodigy that my buddy got (man he's gonna be pissed when he sees this.lol

Nice....

Very nice.

Me wanting one, lol
