Just purchased this Denon controler and mixer and can't seem to get the cross fader (x-control) to control the VDJ cross fader. I have used stereo 3.5 mini jacks to connect the two.
Does anyone know how to do this?

You must turn on the function in the settings of the HC-4500 controller... Hold the preset button for a couple of seconds, and then turn on the X-Control function.
