Hi i have recently brought the Numark Total Control.
When using this in testing (before i do any shows with this) everytime i use the scroll button and load button to load the song on that i want it causes the music playing on my deck to skip a few seconds.
This does not happen if i load songs to the deck via my laptop.
Do i need to update any drivers? Any help much appricated.
Nick

Is there a way to check if the firmware installed correctly and that 1.02 is now on the unit?

Sorry, I wasn't able to find any info on firmware version info. Unfortunately Numark's guide for the TotalConrol for the unit itself or the install guide doesn't mention any of this information.

3) Hold down the PLAY/STUTTER button of the left deck and the CUE button of the right deck simultaneously
connecting the Total Control to your computer. The LEDs next to the mid-range EQ knobs will light up.
Note: If the LEDs next to the treble and mid-range EQ knobs light up, this means there is no firmware
the Total Control. Proceed to Step 4.

just checking...
do you have "scratch" on ?
(below scroll)
with scratch on, the wheels become very sensitive, not touch sensitive though ...
any movement of the total control itself can cause the wheels to move a little bit and activate "scratch"
which means playing will stop for a moment

I have tried it with both the scratch on and off.
I did think that i was touching the wheels but i have tried it without touching them and the problem still ocours, updateing the firmware tomorrow.
