Hi,
I am runing Numark Cue 5.2.1. Some songs dont show up in my folder, despite them being on my computer. Confirming this by searching window. I have tried to re add the folder into my search pattern.
Is there a reason for this? Or anything i can do?
I also tried to fix/clean the browser using the function in the software.
I am running windows Vista and this only started when 5.2.1 was installed.

The quickest and simplest way is to do it, is to right click on the drive or folder (from the browser tree) and select the 'Add to Search DB'

Is there any pattern to the songs that don't show up - a certain filetype, characters in the name etc?

Try this:
Remove the songs from db and close VDJ. Open the folder where the songs are and rename them. ex. if the mp3 filename is:
01 Unkown artist-unkown song.mp3, change it to: Unkown artist-unknown song.mp3
I dont know how your filename looks but i think you know what i mean.
Now start the VDJ again and add the songs to db.
Remove the songs from db and close VDJ. Open the folder where the songs are and rename them. ex. if the mp3 filename is:
