If I have a multi channel soundcard,or two soundcards, can I route the sound from each deck to a separate channel? Tried searching but couldn't find anything concrete..free cookie to who ever answers first!

ah,ignore that one..new question..if i was using two different sound cards, say my built in one and a USB soundcard, and plugging them into an external mixer...would there be any latency issues,i.e. the sound from one deck wouldnt be a few milliseconds behind the other?
thanks
thanks

if your concerned about latency download ASIO4ALL and in VDJ and soundcad select ASIO4ALL and in the config box next to it you can select what inputs and outputs to use this is handy to tell VDJ what inputs/outputs to use as it will ignor the others. i have a external mixer and i dont care about latency just rember to listen to the music and dont watch the screen, use it as a guide more then anything. now can i have my cookie plz COOOOOOOOOOKKKKKKKKKKIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!! (if any1 bothered to watch big bruv this year!)

well probably not that bad i have a 20 pound Trust sound expert 5.1 that i use for timecoded vinyl input (im saving up 4 a MAYA44) put it this way you wont notice the difference especially if ur a bedroom DJ if you really want qualitly u have to pay for it! you might as well give it a go though and see what you think (google ASIO4ALL its a free download)
