I've seen a lot of positive reviews about it, however I have yet to find anyone who actually uses it.

@DJCity

PM Syberman he has one. I to my understanding he is well pleased with it. In fact he's tried to persuade me to buy on a couple of times. There's actually a few guys on here that use it

Cooooool

I'm so tired of playing with my laptop while dj'ing. I want so bad to be able to get my music, trigger effects and samples from my mixer and leave the laptop alone.

I tried the RMX but that did not work out too well for me.

Perhaps this mixer will?

Also I may add it's already been mapped and it's available, in the plugin section.

Nice, to me it's always seemed like a cheaper version of the DJM-800 which if it performs just as well then I will be happy to buy one considering how much cheaper it is.

Dj City, I have one and love it. It's really nice and works flawlessly with VDJ. You need a midi to usb decvice. I use the M-Audio UNO. Here's what it looks like, http://www.m-audio.com/products/en_us/Uno.html Alot of people talk bad about the mixer because it's not a DJM800 or A&H, but for the price and it's jam-packed features it has, you just can't beat it.

Syberman

How is the longevity of the unit?

Can you scroll through folders and tracks, load tracks, trigger samples and effects straight from the mixer without having to touch your computer or mouse?

Here an idea of how stuff should work. This video shows serato used with the mixer but you will get idea of what you can do, and everything should be similar if you use vdj.

I think I like this one. If and when I get one i'll post about IF I like it, HOW MUCH I like it, and WHY I like it. But it does seem like a really cool mixer.

It looks like a pain to set up though. It seems that you would have to hook up the midi / usb cable to the laptop and the usb soundcard to the laptop as well. Is that right?
