Hi there
Apologies if this has been answered a number of time. I tried logging a support question and got told to post here.
here is the problem
i use virtual dj with my new rmx mk2 but when i broadcast i cant seem to get the mic to broadcast, it sounds like its working out of the system but not broadcasting. Can you lend a hand please?
Everytime i set the mic to hercules when i click broadcast it says no sound detected and I can use the soundcard on my pc and it needs to come from hercules. Can anyone advise how to overcome this?

In the Config tab above broadcasting make sure your sound card is Master + Mic and make sure the MK2 is selected as primary sound card.

There are many ways: :-)
-Use the linefaders to mute the songs
-Use the plugin for users in the download area
or
-Use a mixer with a talk over function

the SOUND INSURGENT
Heres the script I use for a talkover switch,
"master_volume 50% while_pressed & deck 4 linein mic on & down ? deck 4 linein mic on : deck 4 linein mic off"
For this to work you must assign the mic to a deck with a shortcut like this,
go into mappers pick "M" and then type in "deck 4 linein mic"

Config --> Mappers --> make a mapping to whatever "Key" you want (I use "M") then map it to the "Action" "mic"

The text you quoted was written in 2008, so it refers to VDJ 7. Presumably you are using VDJ 8.
