Ok, so i had no plans for Saturday night (scheduled time with the wife), but i was called in to replace someone with an attitude problem, I was called at 8pm to be there ASAP.
Once there i was told that the clubs two promoters had a little bit of a misunderstanding, one thought it was going to be Colombian night, the other though it was going to be House & Top 40, see where I'm going with this?
So here I am playing some classic Colombian salsa, when a wave of upset people rush the stage asking where the house music was, so i started to play some house, then i got a wave of angry Colombians asking where the Vallenatos and Porros were, if you dont know what this is, let me tell you that they are completely at opposite ends of the spectrum...cheers
