That mixer can't control nothing of VDJ, you can only use it as an external mixer.
Anyway, you can use the embeded effects.
An advice, you can use two outputs from the hercules, and mix in two separated channels, like you have two cd players.

is ther a way u could use TCV with my behringer? can virtual dj still intereact with it somehow with assitance from the hercules mk2?

Of course you can control the volume.
What i wish to told you it's that you can't control nothing of VDJ, because there's no midi or usb conection betwen the DXJ and the computer.
The TCVs or TCCDs has to be directly conected to your MK2, and the MK2 to your mixer.

It is simple my friend;)
From the output of ur mk2, insert it to line in of channel 1 and channel 2 etc. From config choose external mixer. If u using timescode vinyl and turntable, insert that to the input at the mk2.
The behringer will work as external mixer n WILL NOT control the software interface...only ur mk2 capable doing that. Of course u can change the volume but the knob etc in the software will not follow as it is not midi mixer. But using ur mk2 when u turn the knob, it will.
Using the eq on the external is better than using on the internal vdj software.
Hope it is clear;)
