I just purchased VDJ home edition- installed- registered the product. When I download a new skin(from the download center) it comes in EFW. Format and I can’t do anything with it. I notice in the trial version there was a folder called skin and that’s where I could find the files. When I open my VDJ I find a exe. And the uninstall file along with crash guard and two readme files. AM I missing something?
Any help would greatly be appreciated

EFW. Format ???
Skins are here http://www.virtualdj.com/addons/skins.html and for Windows user click on this icon , download the .exe , double click on it and installation it finish.
After this you can change Skin in the Config menu of Virtual DJ.

Thanks for the quick reply.
I did exactly what you said, I clicked on the icon in the download section and this is what came
up.
NAME mix lab_V3.1.12DOD17. EFW
TYPE UMX attachment file 1.12MB
No where is there a exe. file
any ideas??

Are you downloading the file with Internet Explorer? If not you should try it. And de-activate any download accelerators you might have.

You can thank your anti virus software for that.

I would try renaming the extension or disable the anti virus software and re download the skin.
