Since going with VDJ in 2004 I've always had my CD players for emergency use in case I had a catastrophic computer failure with both computers. (I have a backup computer fully loaded and ready to fire should I have a major problem like a hard drive crash, power supply failure, stupid fool dumps a beer on my DELL..... etc.
None of those things have happened but occasionally things do happen like a quick power outage that requires a full re-boot. (Florida has lightning storms at least 6 months a year) And you know how long that can be as you are getting the cat calls from the damn fools who can't figure out how to work an ATM machine.
I've been looking at this item for about a year and last week I forked out the $299.00 and hoped for the best. I'm not a huge fan of American Audio (American DJ) equipment but this is a pretty cool deal. Last week I removed all the "CD" players and put them in the attic along with my 8 track player, cassette player, Beta Max, and a VCR. (I still have my first SLINKY)
This is what I'm talking about.... http://www.instrumentpro.com/P-AMAASDJ1?source=froogle
PS: For those that don't know what an 8 track player or a Beta Max is please ask TEARY he's a LOT older than I am)

Teary, I have a Barbie doll that has no boobs at all.
Now they are shipped with nipples and vagina as standard equipment!
(Listen we are having an election party right now and I'm half trashed, ignore my typos)

Nipple-less barbies aside, that looks like a cool product, very handy for a professional DJ's backup.
Or you can be like the guy that replaced me when I got fired and bring in your iPod to play, then just hang by the bar all night. That works too! (Of course he did get fired after a month or so).
