Dieses Thema ist veraltet und kann veraltete oder falsche Informationen enthalten.

Can anyone give me some input on sound cards and how they react with latency...

I currently run virtual dj on mac and have done so for a bout 5 years now...im using a numark icdx as an interface controller and have a 2 channel mixer....I have the tcv and what not...

I just dont wanna have to use a serato when im so comfortable with vdj which i would only use the sound card from it but its rediculously high...

If anyone has any suggestions it would be much appriciated thanxs....

I don't own the icdx, but I thought they were there own controller/sound card? Are you hooking up turntables to use with the tcv also?

Those questions aside, currently VDJ on Mac only supports timecode with the Hercules RMX and MK2. It also works with the Numark VV interface. Other than that, I don't know of any other interface that works with timecode. Support says the developer is working on the issue with timecode on Mac. Also on Mac, the Serato interface is locked to use with SSL only.

I use to use a hercules when i had a pc and yea id like to get back to using turntables again...I'm assuming I'm just gonna have to get virtual vinyl then??? but I'm not sure of any feed back on it but thanxs ill do some research on it...

I went with a Firewire sound card. The Edirol FA-66 which sounds and performs great with a PC. I have no experience with MAC so I cant help you there.

Yo can anybody help me??

I have 2 numark tt1626 direct drive tables and a cheap numark mixer. I also have virtual DJ. I want to use timecoded vinyl to scratch the mp3's I play on virtual dj on my table. How exactly would I go about doing this? I am a beginner so bare with me. I know I need a soundcard (what kind, which one) what else do I need? Help...please?

King Koop... First step is registering your version of VDJ to get the latest updates. Once you get that version we can better assist you.

If you're going to use turntables with a Mac, I'd suggest checking out Virtual Vinyl so you have an interface that works. Try checking the Mac forum for your research. Good luck!
