Topic: Hear buffer before track plays

Dieses Thema ist veraltet und kann veraltete oder falsche Informationen enthalten.

Hi,I am testing out Virtual DJ and everything runs nice and smooth on my system except there seems to be a bit of audio buffer (can be described as a millisecond of audio buffer audio?) that is played right before the track plays. It also looks like the auto cue cues to it but I can't be exactly sure as I am not sure of Virtual Djs accuracy on autocue.

I have autocue set to enabled.

My MP3 files were ripped with the original PCDJ5.2 codec and later with LAME.

My OS is WinXP SP3 dual core 1.69 Mhz with 2 gigs of ram.

My sound card is a Emagic A26 Using the ASIO drivers. I think my latency is set to (23 ms)

I am testing Virtual DJ 5.2.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Try to lower latency for sound card in settings, might be the problem.

I lowered it to 512 and the issue seems to be resolved. Thank you!

It's a master tempo related bug, easily reproduced just by stopping the song
and playing it from beginning where silence is present, so you can hear the
short portion of sound from where the song stopped. Probably a buffer for
timestretching is not cleared when pausing a song, but it happens only once
and only if you stop/load a new song while on audiable part of the track.
