I have complained about mastertempo (keylock) quality for a long time. But in VDJ7 it sounds very good. I think now it's better than all the competition has.
I agree that Traktor has better effects.
 
At the end of the night I'll sometimes run into a customer or two who recognizes me as the DJ and will say something like "great set tonight" or go the other way and complain with "you never played my song." I've never once heard "great software choice tonight" or "the audio quality sucked."

Just sayin

that's cause you've never gone out with me bro... I have the curse of the dj, I know too much about it and i have stopped taking drugs and getting wasted on booze so I am cynical and can't lose myself in the music unless everything meets my standards, high up on the standards checklist is audio quality. Being cynical isn't that bad though, it has made me great at providing entertainment but horrible at receiving it LOL, also I didn't say VDJ had poor sound quality, I said "it's a high quality professional program" and "this needs work when compared to traktor", which is what the topic is about. :)

Damn, I guess I was away too long as I only saw 158,672,800 threads......but honestly asking WHY is a legit question, but to just use it BECAUSE someone else uses it is what makes the majority of people lemmings. It is a sociological inferiority complex that most participants in society want to "fit in" as they do not have the confidence in their own skills, intellect, appearance, personality, etc. that they will be "accepted" being themselvs so they cease to think on their own, dress on their own, work on their own, make purchasing decisions on their own.

Yes there is a huge degree of resentment and exlusionism towards those who do act as individuals (personally I think it is mostly envy towards us individuals that have the freedom of being able to act on our own) and most people can't accept that because they want to be included in the herd and not ostracized from it.

I live in the middle of the forest because it pleases ME and I use VDJ because I personally determined it is the best video Dj software available for MY needs. Do I lose a lot of potential gig because I won't "conform", yes, but I have peice of mind and my nose is still as flesh tone colored as the day I was born!

Well my nose is brown, so what you trying to say? Oh wait......My whole body is brown, my bad.
 
Guy came up to me in the club a couple of weeks ago and asked when I would be upgrading to traktor. I pointed at the big screen video above my head with firetext scrolling through it and said "I'll look at Traktor when it can do that".
