Okay, I had downloaded the pre-release version install_virtualdj_pc_v8.0.1761 but had totally no time to install it. Now I see that the one I just downloaded is install_virtualdj_pc_v8.0.1785, so I will install the latest one, as I guess it has some fixes already.
Let me first make some screenshots of my current configuration of 7.4. Just in case it does not take all my settings and I need to reconfigure it from scratch again.
Of course I will make a back-up first of my current settings if need be to downgrade again.

Where are all my genres?
I have created a filter folder, group by Genre, I see that it took and added all my genres, but where is the music? If I click on any genre it does not display anything?
The User manual is not very handy, explaining this part!
OK, I found it, I see there is a Music symbol left, clicking on it displays the music. It is good that I have all night to get accustomed to this.
Alright let me play my first tune, and start with some Bachata.

It's their decision and I respect it. But... It's a pitty. There are 2 kinds of DJ's: players and the creative ones, those who make remixes and feed the first ones. Maybe you should make another VDJ edition with timeline, it would be priceless for creative people, IMHO. As I said, it's cute, but... Well, I won't write it down.
