Kontrol MX2 - Rear panel


  1. Master OUT - JACK/RCA Connect the L/R RCA plugs or the OUT ⅛" (3.5 mm) plug on the rear panel of the Traktor MX2 to the inputs of your amplification system using the appropriate cables. The level of this output is controlled by the Master VOL knob at the top panel

  2. MIC INPUT. Connect your microphone to the MIC plug using a ¼" (6.35 mm) connector.

  3. MIC VOLUME. : Adjust the microphone input level.

  4. USB. Use a USB-C cable to connect the device with a USB port of your computer.

  5. POWER: Use the provided AC/DC power adapter to connect Kontrol MX2 to a power outlet. Use the Power Switch to turn the unit on and off. Turn on MX2 after all input devices have been connected and before you turn on amplifiers. Turn off amplifiers before you turn off the MX2




Kontrol MX2 - Front panel

  1. HEADPHONES SOCKET : Connect your headphones to either plug on the front panel of the Traktor MX2 using a ¼" (6.35 mm) or ⅛" (3.5 mm) connector.



The MX2 is equiped with bottom-side rgb leds (6 per-side) and are pre-assigned to light up as following :
  • Blinking Red, when Track is near end (by default 30 seconds - can be adjusted from VDJ Options)
  • Green when Deck is in Loop
  • Blue when Deck is playing out live following the Master Deck. Both Decks in blue when synced, red if not playing but not synced.
  • Off when Deck is unloaded.
